1976 Stelling Starflower banjo

Here is a June of 1976 Stelling Bellflower for sale! A fine piece of early Stelling history and craftsmanship made out in California before moving production east. This particular one is dated "7 Jun 76" and is serial number 127. For a 50 year old banjo, it is in great shape.

The hardware is in good condition and befits a banjo that was played and taken care of over the years. The frets have plenty of life left in them to bring the new owner years of playing enjoyment.

The banjo was refinished in the last year as these older Stellings are notorious for having finish issues. I see this as an improvement though, and wish I had taken before photos to show you. Now this early, desirable, MAHOGANY Stelling can live on.

These banjos are known for their great Mahogany tones, and Geoff did not produce another mahogany banjo for decades when the Starflowers were taken out of production in the late 70s.
